Cummins DPF Regeneration

 
The instruction screenshot is created on F7S platform. But path and method still applied to models: F3,F3G, F3D, F3S,F3SN, F3SG, F5D, F5G, F7SN,F7SG
 
Path: Diesel Engine→Cummins (V8.27)→Diagnostic Mode→Cummins Diesel Engine (Auto Detect) → Diesel 6&9 PIN (or Green) → Confirm → Action Test → Aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration (Enable).
 



Select “Diagnostic Mode”;
 



Select “Cummins Diesel Engines (Auto Detect)”;
 



Select “Diesel 6&9 PIN”, select Green 9pin if your vehicle has green plug;
 



Review the engine information and Click “Confirm”;
 



Select “Action Test”;
 



Select “Aftertreatment Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration (Enable)”;
 



Read the steps before click “Confirmation” button

Click “F1” button to start the regeneration process. Once the Regeneration Process started, the engine speed increase and the DPF outlet temperature and the exhaust gas temperature will rise. DPF light will be on
 



When the engine speed drops and stabilizes or when the DPF soot level falls to zero on the instrument panel, click “F3” button to exit the regeneration process. Click “F2” button if you want to stop Regen.
